General Condition: A good-looking cruiser with her wraparound windshield and integrated swim platform, the 280 rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a flared bow and relatively wide 10- foot, 6-inch beam. Below, the Sundancer's wide-open cabin layout delivers comfortable overnight accommodations for as many as six adults. The floor plan is arranged in the conventional manner with V-berths forward and a wide double berth in the good-sized mid-cabin. Curtains are used for privacy in both staterooms, and the dinette converts into a double berth for extra overnight guests. Topside, visibility from the elevated double helm seat is excellent, and bench seating in the cockpit will accommodate several guests. Two hatches in the cockpit sole provide good access to the engines. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, radar arch, cockpit bolsters, cockpit refreshment center, and a transom door.
